I am a recent graduate of the Architectural Drafting Technician program from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), in Chilliwack, BC. Through this program, I have developed core competence in industry-specific skills such as executing working drawing sets in Revit to the requirements of the BCBC and local zoning bylaws. I have also gained experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp and Twinmotion. The program covered all facets of residential wood-frame construction and I also conducted independent weekly site visits over the course of 6 months to a local townhouse construction site.
Prior to completing my drafting certificate, I studied at Emily Carr University where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I have exhibited in various group shows and in 2023, held a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery’s Art Rental and Sales Program. Through this artistic practice, I have executed a high level of self-motivation to create a cohesive and compelling body of artwork. The works are precise and detailed compositions exploring themes of space and form, which has been a natural evolution of my interest to pursue a career in architecture.
